Geaux Girl Giving Conference 3-2025-2-8.jpg

In March 2021, I answered a calling that had been stirring in my spirit for years. After a decade of working in philanthropy, I had seen too many spaces overlook the brilliance, resilience, and leadership of Black women. I knew we deserved more than a seat at the table — we deserved to build our own.

So I created Geaux Girl Giving to do just that: to shift resources into the hands of grassroots leaders, to center our voices, and to reimagine what’s possible when Black women lead.

This work is rooted in love — for my people, for my city, and for the women who move mountains with limited resources and limitless heart. Geaux Girl Giving isn’t just a grantmaking circle. It’s a movement. It’s a mirror. It’s a reminder that we are the ones we’ve been waiting for. Every ripple we’ve made is a testament to what happens when Black women come together — to heal, to build, and to rise.
