ABOUT OUR
Collective
Founded in 2021, Geaux Girl Giving is rooted in the long legacy of Black women who have always shown up for their families, their communities, and each other. We honor that tradition by moving resources into the hands of Black women–led organizations, amplifying our voices and leadership, and creating spaces that nurture our holistic well-being.
Along the way, we are deepening our connections as philanthropists and change makers, while expanding our understanding of the issues facing women and girls in our communities. Together, we are building the relationships, knowledge, and power needed for a just and equitable future.

Philanthropic Narrative Change

Through our collective giving model, we honor the ancestral tradition of pooling resources to care for one another; empowering everyday Black women to be active philanthropist.

Our work centers the complexity, beauty, and brilliance of Black women and girls by investing in storytelling, visibility, and spaces where our full truth is honored.

We offer that capacity-building support that’s as intentional and affirming as it is strategic; designed to help leaders scale their vision without burning out.

Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.

JOIN OUR
Collective
We’re educators, organizers, creatives, caregivers, and culture-shifters. What binds us is our belief in the power of community.
Our members come from across the South and beyond, united by a shared commitment to provide opportunities, resources, and information to Black women—joyfully, boldly, and on our own terms. And we’re just getting started. More to come as we continue to grow, build, and create spaces that reflect the brilliance of our community.
